We're seeing signs that W is looking to do something with Iran before he leaves and we all know damn well that will appeal to a certain element and possibly energize the 'war rocks-whatever the cost' crowd that might otherwise stay home.

That is probably the best way he can help McCain. Attack Iran! And destroy their, uh, WMD program.

.

o.k. nostradamus....how much you wanna bet we don`t attack iran sans an attack on us or israel in the run up to november?.....

Probably less than 20% chance. But it would be a gift to McCain, like I said.

The fact that he's even actively, publicly talking about it with Europeans and the Jews, which by all accounts he is, is telling.

Now, if you wanna bet something that McCain, if elected, does something in his four years? No problem.

I would be sick if I 'won' that bet, I assure you.

You would be happy as hell if you lost.

McCain crashed 5 jets, plus he was responsible for the horrible USS Forrestal fire In 1967.

Surviving crewmen and those who investigated the Forrestal fire case reported that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E Skyhawk to shake up the guy in the F-4 Phantom behind his A-4.

'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' 'cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fuel tank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb. bomb off it's 500 lb. rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire.

The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration, along with 167 of his fellow Forrestal shipmates (including those who died later from wounds suffered).

'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots. McCain was quickly (they were still counting the Forrestal dead) transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred). :scared
............................................................

A)Was this really McCain that caused this.
B)If he did was it an acident?Surely if not, this would of been murder,X168.

Im not voting for him, however im not buying this story...sorry!!

S...or the 9 trillion dollar debt that is suffocating the nation, they hide like little school girls, or blame Clinton. Now Smurph is right the article is garbage, but what is in store for Obama will make this look like nothing.

Hey, genius, when was the last time that both sides of Congress were controlled by Republicans?

So, do you think that 9 trillion dollar figure might be blamed on Democrats??

Scotty,

Please don't get all caught up in this extraneous stuff. Smurphy is right, it's no different than the Swift Boat crap.

I like how some of these 'sources' put things. He 'failed to avoid' that bad boy, huh?

Just like all of our grunt POW's on the ground 'failed to avoid getting captured.'

He might have sucked as a pilot, who knows, but at least he was over there while W was busy campaigning down in Texas for his daddys buddy while serving out his, ahem, National Guard 'term.'

:stfu:

Go do some ****ing research, and try to figure out where he served...

Meanwhile, stop posting here, seriously.

oh, and another thing

oh, and another thing

Any JAG would have been all over an intentional willful disregard for established procedures. I love how when the Rose law firm is clearly shown to be a front for illegal activities, that it has to be dismissed since no one was convicted, but anything relating to the right is sacrosanct, and it's not possible to question the merits or the intent of the OP.

Fabulous.

I wish these anti-Americans would just leave my country and go inhabit Vietnam.

So, the answer is - YES - I am disappointed that we lost in the 2nd round of kickball playoffs. But I'm also happy because now Mondays will be devoted to tennis. I look forward to greater health and fitness as a result.

So, your answer is "Yes, the Democrats are completely responsible for the 9 trillion dollars."

And as a side note you added "The fact that crude oil prices have gone up more since Democrats have been in control of both sides of congress THAN IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF MANKIND AFOREHAND leads me to believe that Democrats are incapable of even the simplest of legislative chores."

To wit, you yourself retorted "Hussein Obama is a Muslim with a sketchy background, no credentials, a history of association with anti-American left-wing racists, and an aptitude for helping criminals and habitual welfare abusers before honest hard-working Americans, so that I cannot therefore mindfully support such a low-life, degenerate candidate."

Whew glad you cleared that up. And here I was thinking that you have a lack of intellect, that you like playing with little boys' penises, that you are a dumb ****ing idiot, and that you think you are sooooo smarty with kickball comments.

Man was I wrong.

Anybody know about orange trees? I have one in the front yard and don't tend to it very often. I was told that I need to pick all the oranges off at once and thin out a lot of the branches. Apparently, as it is now, the tree is confused - it's always in partial bloom, but the oranges are not so great. This purging of it's fruits and branches I guess is supposed to get it back on track.
