Just checked and Purdue was 6 and 6 with wins versus Eastern Ky,Eastern Michigan,Marshall,Illinois,Iowa and Indiana. How is that good enough to be deserving of a bowl?

Because everyone and their fucking brother gets to go to a bowl. It means nothing to go to bowls anymore.
They were 6-6 and don't deserve a New years day Bowl??? Waaaaayyyyy to many bowls and i hate it that they have to automatically take certain conferences for certain bowls.... Purdue should have played in a DEc. 21 bowl at best.
How about Georgia Tech at 6-7 going into their bowl game yesterday? What a joke. They had no business being in that game and had to get a waiver from the NCAA to participate, but took advantage of a disinterested and underachieving USC team.
Did not watch one play of G Tech game. The Clemson/LSU game will be the best game of the bowl season .
