Did the "Deep State" sabotage Hillary?

Could the Deep State Be Sabotaging Hillary?

Maybe Hillary is the Deep State's shoo-in for president. But I suspect doubts in the Deep State have advanced to active sabotage for the reasons noted below.
Few would dispute that Hillary Clinton is the Establishment's candidate. It's widely accepted that the Establishment hews to a neoconservative (neo-con) foreign policy that is fully supported by America's Deep State, i.e. the centers of state power that don't change as a result of elections.

As a result, it's widely accepted that the Deep State fully supports Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency and will move heaven and earth to get her elected. While this is a logical premise, I suspect it's overly simplistic. I suspect major power centers in the Deep State are actively sabotaging Hillary because they've concluded she is a poisoned chalice who would severely damage the interests of the Deep State and the U.S.A.

Interesting musings, but absolutely no sources. The author doesn't even pretend to quote someone from the inside. It is just their best guess at something happening. Which is interesting, and plausible, but where do you go after reading this? It just seems vague enough to be easy to believe, impossible to refute, and needless to prove.

And the proposed ways they could influence the election against Hillary, are again, obvious.

It's kind of like listening to an articulate caller to a sports talk radio show. Their proposed strategies or trades make a certain level of sense, but without access to the inside of team management, or some data to back up their claims, they are just pissing in the wind. Same as the rest of us.

No one reason why she lost. Politics like football can be a game of inches and she lost by inches in enough places to lose. Hubris. Not showing up at all at those key states. People who were on the fence who on a emotional level might have voted for Trump in the end because at least he showed up. The ever reliable, I voted for change. Always seems to happen and it transcends party lines. Just a emotional reactionary response. The Comey letter. Which WAS bullshit.
