Spent eight years of my life coaching in DII, albeit not football, and feel I know a couple of the games today.

Coached 3 years at North Alabama, and UNA coach Hudspeth came from Delta St. UNA beat Delta by 7 at Delta earlier in the year and with this one being in Florence, I really like the Lions to win this one fairly big. UNA choked away a chance to play at home in the title game last year, and they are as hungry as any team in DII I would lay the 7 there and feel pretty good.

The other game I like is Bloomsburg +2- at Shepherd. BloomU has a pretty good tradition and the horses to go a long way in these playoffs.

No opinion on GVSU and ND and don't know much about Chadron and 14 is a hefty # to lay in the playoffs.

All these lines are at 5dimes by the way

QB should be out for shepherd this week. Went to the game last week. He got drilled and hurt his knee. Backup looked pretty good though, we'll see if he can handle the pressure.

Dont know much about Bloomsburg this year, but traditonally shepherd has struggled with PSAC schools although the last few years have been improved.

Shepherd has a dominate defense this year giving up only 13 points through the first 8 games. They will stop the run but give up passes against spread offenses.

Their RB is a speed burner but lacks size.

hope this helps

good luck

I played football in the WVIAC and Shepherd is a brutal place to play, their fans are rabid to say the least...I think Shepherd wins this by at least 7. The QB situation has me concened but their RB is the real deal.

Bloomsburg picked up a win on the road and unless things change, so will Delta. UNA getting hammered 13-0 in the 1st half
