I've never tried this, but I have caught some with traditional fishing equipment. The ones in the picture are well over 300 pounds I believe!

Why are they killing fish that old?For the attractive bloodied up trophy picture or will they actually eat these fish?

Alligator gar, and yes, they do use the fish. They are also not endangered.

I for one am very proud of their ability to float around in a boat and shoot a large fish multiple times with an arrow. What are they going to do for an encore, beat puppies with a baseball bat?

Geez, how am I ever going to recover? You really should have gone with the "stfu" icon. It would have made much more of an impact. The "who gives a ****" just makes you look apathetic and lazy. I would expect more from a fan of Family Guy as your avatar suggests.
