when i used to work overnights at Comcast, i honest to god have seen PPV balances at $400-500 a month!!!! i finally suggested to 1 person to buy the dvd's to save money, but he still didn't want to do that. it was unreal. the best is, you'll order a movie and than they don't hang up right away, and you'll hear them in the backround with their old lady getting it on, while they are watching the movie, its funny as hell

Ask for the high definition dish, they will give it to you for free, only when you are getting it installed or moving. But they will charge you for it if you don't ask for it until later??????
I was on the phone with the people because I asked about when I moved but the installer gave me regular dish. I am in the process of getting an HD receiver and called about the dish and the guy attempted to charge me....long story short a few :cursin: :cursin: if I want the dish they will do it for no charge. Best bet ask for it now and save hassle later.

TRYING to talk the wife into this one, only problem I can see is, $75.00 for 4 months, and then 100 a month for 8 months, thats kinda high for TV isnt it? maybe im just not as rich as you guys...{maybe this fb season will change all that} :scared

I only use DTV to subscribe to the NFL sunday ticket and I keep my local cable cause it's bundled up with my internet and phone line and I get a really good price. I have been subscribing to the NFL Sunday Ticket for the past four years with no problems but had the opportunity to get it at no cost
last year so I did and didn't renew with DTV for the obvious reasons. Now that you can't get the cards I wanted to renew the NFL ST but they are telling me that because I cancelled it last year, I have to now purchase one of their plans before I can order the NFL ST. What a bunch of crap. Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this or am I screwed? When I found this out today I almost cried :142crying Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
