Does anyone out there Having a Trouble with Directv Right Now. I'm having a Serious Hard Time with the Customer Service. Right now, My Tv is out. My TV says" For Service, Please Call Customer Service to have my TV Back. Direct TV say that I should have a new Access Card being put into my TV. I never got a New Access Card from them in Mail Yet. They said that I should had it 10 Days Ago. "Access Card is to be replace in Reciever Box". What a SCREW Job that thier doing with the Rest of Directv Customers.

Does anyone of you have a same Problem that I Do.

They should've notified the customers long ago, and they didn't.

How does anyone here feel about their Directv.

They're Pissing me Off:confused:

They Promise to send me a Access Cards by Federal Express by Tomorrow Morning in Eastern Time.

I have problems with their customer service sometimes but it is about 1 / 100000th of 1% of the problems I had with the cable company. I too got a new access card in the mail a while back. They sent me two notices this year, maybe 4 months back, saying that all subscribers would be receiving new cards in sort of a rolling fashion over the rest of the year. The new card will come in, you will replace it, and all will be right with the world again.

The thing is, I dont care if I get bad service from them every day of the year. Its sad to say that, but for 17 Sundays a year when I am watching every single football game with a fridge full of beer, life comes into focus.

Thanks For Replies Guys,

FedEx stop over my house at 8:55 AM Est. and handed me the Package that Directv sent. I got my new access card and now my TV is Back.;) :D

Directv should have sent their customers a notice long ago.

Anyway, Glad that I got my TV Back.

I have not had any problems with my service, but have had problems with their customer service. Like Stuman, I have not heard a thing from them about the card.

My problem had to do with the Fox Sports Package I bought. They said I would get almost all of the baseball games on the various fox channels, only a few would be blacked out. First weekend, full schedule, everything is blacked out for me. I can't even get Millwaukee/Pittsburgh. I called the customer service and complained. She acted like I was nuts and told me she was looking at the games right now. I told her that was great for her (somewhere in the south) but that everything was blacked out for me. Then she said it was probably because the games were on locally or ESPN. I asked her if she really thought Pitt-Mill would be on ESPN. Finally, she agreed that I was right and then told me that it clearly says that some games may be blacked out. Then I really hit the roof because it DIDN'T say anything about blackouts on the Fox package. It did on the MLB package but not the Fox. I bitched and moaned to a few supervisors(?) and wrote them a nasty letter (after canceling the FOX deal). They eventually said they would amend the advertising for the Fox package. Alot of good that did me.

They ZAP signals because of the 'pirate' cards, you may not receive the signal if your phone line is not connected. 2+ years on my dish, only problem was trying to install it myself because of the two week wait, then the storm and the siding that hit the yard with my dish. I thought it was just raining real hard and lost my signal. Found my dish in my neighbor's yard the next day.

If you are getting the new card and want to get rid of the old card (#3 football card) let me know.

ferdville, I went through the same thing. It really had to do with the operator not understanding the baseball package. I know it sounds hard to believe, but she had no idea what I wanted. In order to get all the games you have to order the MLB package. At that point, you will be able to watch that feed or the Fox feed if it isnt blacked out - like the other night the Sox game was on the MLB package but it was the Toronto feed, so instead I watched the Boston feed on NESN. For some of these sports things when it comes to blackouts and shit like that, its a lot more reliable to get information from other people that already have it, IMHO.

BahamaMama...The ones that are good have a picture of a football player on them. The ones before them are not any good and the new ones (Access 4) arent good either. (yet);)
If you want to part with 1 football card e-mail me and we will see if we can work something out.
