Kerry wants the RICH to pay well over 40% of their income to taxes.

Where does rich start? 1 million dollar incomes? 800 thousand? 500 thousand dollar incomes???

no, according to Kerry 200k annually!!!!

Rich?? im sorry did i miss something here?

lets say you make 200k.. when your done with Kerrys taxes you?ve got a little over 100 thousand.. What?s left after a wife, kids in college, a decent home, car payments, and living expenses?

yes its enough to live off of. And one certainly wont be poor?

but Rich my ass!..

How American is to say.. "Well you?ve worked hard but your making to much money. We are taking it and giving it to these people who don?t have as much." Distribution of wealth is not fair.. Also if your somewhat poor and the govt is giving you money.. what incentive do these people have to work hard and improve their situation? NONE!

Nobody in this country should be punished for being successful. That?s what is unique and wonderful about this country. If you want to make a million dollars? Then do it! If you don?t, then don?t.

it may not effect MY income, but it hurts my bosses'
which, in turn, effects me.if he's got less money, because of higher taxes, i'm certainly not going to see much of a raise.

These Evil successful people are the ones making this country go. They invest, they build, they provide jobs.. Giving in to the socialist views of the democrats makes no sense to me

Send all the wealth overseas where the jobs are going. Then they dont have to worry if they get taxed to much.

On the course!
The tax answer is simple:

Forget income tax. Make as much as you can, and keep every penny if that's what you want to do. But, we should have a spending tax. Whenever you spend your money, you get taxed. You want to live "high on the hog"? Well, it's gonna cost you! Now, I realize that there is sales tax out there, but this would be a little different.

Maybe it's a horse shit idea, but what the hell........

Dawg you been in many discussions here. And that answer does not make any sence. At least mind does. Maybe we should send the owners of some those companies over seas with the jobs. See how much they like liveing there. Keeping in mind here is best places to be. Sorry I dont go long with the adminastration that outsourcing is best in the long run. I have a good idea lets out source afew politicians. And we can start with any that believe that is a good idea.
And the sooner we get a national sales tax the better off we al would be.
YYZ careful your idea is very close to makeing sence. Pay as you wish to live.

So Cal
Kerry has married two women, both multi-millionaires. And I wonder what Kerry and our other elected officials will be bringing in for their incomparable "retirement" program that they pay absolutely nothing for and end up receiving millions.

Many have said that if you took all of the wealth in America and distributed it equally to every American over the age of 18, within six months most of that money would be right back into the hands of the people who had it in the first place.

A national sales tax,,or "tax those who spend" is the same thing as over-taxing high income earners since they are the ones who spend the most. So, to keep more of your money, you should not spend,,
wonder how that will effect jobs?
This is shallow thinking,,sorry guys, it just is.
We should all be encouraged to spend, which will create jobs. To do that, we need more of the money we earn.
To mention the jobs that have moved out of this country is to try to throw this issue off-track. There are plenty of jobs here that will benefit from more consumer spending, i.e. homes, cars, services, etc..
Seems simple, but political views are getting in the way.

djv--continue taxing businesses to death, forcing them to send their labor overseas, and the entire businesses will eventually follow. I think the US is the best place to be, but it isn't the only place on earth that's worth living in. There are plenty of people in the world that are quite content where they live. It seems like you and your liberal buddies are trying everything you can to make the US less and less attractive for innovative people to live here. Believe me, you want those people in your country whether you like it or not.

Look at it this way, in your angry old years, who else would you throw mud at all day? You would have to start picking on the moderates.

Dam Gibber I thoguht it almost made sence. Part two was alittle better. Seems some of these companies forget we do have the greatest places on earth to live. Sending the CEO along with those jobs over seas might wake them up. Or at least shine a differant light on it. It's not about what is best for America. It's about whats best for there company. America is second. And that is to bad. The greed factor does enter in to the process.
