Beer $ play for me:
Mount Union 9-December-2006 9:00 AM
Spread -17 for Game -105

did some research on this. Mt Union is about as statistically dominant a team you'll see.

#1 in D3 yds/gm (504)
#2 yds all/gm (180)

#2 rush off (295/gm)
#1 rush def (22/gm)

Mt Union has allowed 8 punt returns ALL YEAR.

I don't know much, but I know Mt Union never loses. Hope they cover.

I did have to laugh a little when I saw the -750 Moneyline. Was tempted to take it. What's the ML on the next Globetrotters game?

Being a graduate of St. John Fisher and living here in Rochester NY, I'll take the points. Mt Union is a beast and they will probably win but I like Fisher to keep it closer than the spread. They are good on both sides of the ball and I think the spread reflects the tradition of winning that Mt Union has established. These guys are tough but a small amount on the ML might be worth a shot, but very small. Think Mt. Union wins this one by about 7-10 points. GL

Fair enough, Pirate. Good luck.

Enjoy the game. I don't wish any harm on your boys. Maybe they do pull the shocker.

We find out in about 36 hours.

The Mount Union-Whitewater rematch next week (which it will almost certainly be since UWW got past St. John's) should be one hell of a game.

Yeah, I know, but here's to hoping!!:mj07: What St. John's? Not Fisher, they lost to someone else who they beat in the 1st round of playoffs this year. Maybe I'm wrong, gotta double check.

Double checked, they lost to Springfield only who they later beat at Springfield in the first round. GL

No, I was referring to St. John's in St. Paul, UWW beat them 17-14 in the quarters.

Whitewater blew out Wesley last year in the semis but Wesley was a precision-passing team and the field felt like it was a skating rink and was snowing non-stop (I had to be on the sidelines for the first half to shoot photos). I'm curious how that game will play out on a decent field. They just had no chance with the field conditions.

UWW returns pretty much the entire offense from last year, which was just a machine, but they haven't looked nearly as strong in the playoffs as they did last year or in the regular season this year. I could see them winning by 30, but I don't think I would lay the -12 on that.

Props on the bet, pirate fan. Looks like your boys did you proud and hung tough against the most consistently dominant team in all the land.

disappointed with the loss but they had a good year. It has been a program moving up the last few years since they upgraded all the facilities to accomadate the Buffalo Bills training camp each year. Maybe next year they'll get over the hump. Nice Job Fisher Football!!:toast: :spotting: :thumb: :Yep:
