Here are the totals for all Falcon home games this year, 55, 81, 63, 65, 57, 57, 54, and 70...that's an average of 63 points a game with not a single game all year going below the posted total...playoff games do have a tendency to get unexpectedly conservative but usually not under these conditions...public play but as I have said in the past doesn't mean it wont easily win...If you do take the under in this one you almost surely will be sweating it out at some point, if your on the over this one could be toast by the half.

I forget the stat exactly but its something like 14-2 ats when a team gets a chance to revenge a regular season loss on the same field in the playoffs...obviously its a lot of points and the Pats are more than capable of running it up on them but with a solid historical trend on my side and the fact that Houston with all their faults are the #1 Defense in football...I don't think Bill will be as likely to be gunning for a blowout in this contest, get a DD lead and run the clock in the 2nd half...I could be sitting down by 22 pts in the last 2 min and have a solid hance at the back door here...I will be attempting to middle with my teaser

Even though they usually beat the shit out of Houston they could be in a choke spot here. When NE finds themselves in the playoffs on a 3 or more game win streak they are only 4/5 SU and 1/8 ATS with a +2.1 point MOV. Houston can't be a popular play, can they ?

obviously doesn't matter now...I guess I didn't give the running game for Pit enough credit, I felt KC would do a better job at shutting it down...KC offense was fairly blah, thought they had a few more bells a whistles than they apparently had...either way positive week, grinding along through the post season
