Appalachian St. -3 over UMass: This line dropped back down to three after being at 3.5 for awhile. I like UMass' defense and toughness but I don't think they have the athletes to stop the Appy St. offense. Definitely a square play but sometimes square plays win.

Mount Union/UWW under 52.5: The focus of the discussion has been on each teams' offense but I think the defenses will be the deciding factors in the game. MUC has one of their best this year and UWW has held opponents to 10 points per game. Add to that MUC's strong running game and I think you have a number that is too high for a championship game.

FWIW I got GVSU at -3 early this week. It is now at -5. I really think they roll through the championship game.

Total in the Division III game is rising slowly. I really think Whitewater gets their revenge today and beats the Purple Helmets. This is a good Mount Union team but it is not the dominant team we have seen in past years.
