here is some additional info on the dallas / minn under that i thought some might find useful....
other than the giants scoring 33 & 31 points in their 2 games, no other team scored more than 21
points against the boys defense in the other 15 games played this season....
the minn. defense finished 6th in total defense & is ranked 10th in the league in scoring defense, allowing 19.5 ppg....their secondary is arguably the team?s top concern on defense heading into the playoffs & some of that can be traced to injuries.....cornerback antoine winfield missed a good portion of the season in the middle of the year & in the 7 games he did not play in, the defense allowed 26 or more points in 4 of those....on the other hand, in the 9 games he played, they allowed 26 or more points only twice & both of those games were on the road.....in minn. last 10 games, they allowed 29 ppg in the 5 games on the road while only allowing 9.2 ppg in the 5 games at home....
dallas is 13-4 to the ?under? in its last 17 games after outgaining its last opponent by 200 or more yards....
dallas is 7-1 to the "under" in their last 8 games after allowing fewer than 250 yds. in their previous game....
minn. is 14-5 to the ?under? in its last 19 games following a win by 10 points or more....
minn. is 6-1 to the ?under? in their last 7 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game....

jets have a good defense, but am not convinced that they are as good as their stats indicate....this year there were 5 teams that scored 24 or more points vs. the jets....4 of those 5 games went over the total....meanwhile sd has scored 24 or more points in 11 of their 16 games this season to date & scored 23 or more points in 14 of their 16 games to date....
play over - home teams against the total (sd) - poor rushing team (70-95 ry/g) against an average rushing defense (95-125 ry/g) after 8+ games, after gaining 50 or less rushing yards last game.
over the last 10 seasons the record for this system is....23-4....85.2%....
the average total posted in these games was....40.8....the average total points scored in these games....49....
over the last 3 seasons the system's record is....8-1....88.8%....
