UNC has been to 13 final fours, won 2 or 3 titles, been in I believe 7 title games, won numerous ACC title games, and they storm court over this win as a favorite when UNC is a top 10 teaqm picked by many to go to the Final Four? This might be more sad than my Texas fans storming the court after the Wake win.

been a tough stretch of seasons for the tarheels. they been waiting to celebrate something for awhile.
Not many fans like it (myself included). We are North Carolina, we should win those games. But, like lowell said, there's been a lot of losing lately and people are just excited. So you're a texas fan...i would have thought you would have been a dookie or state fan, or maybe kansas with your anti unc posts. i didn't know texas fans disliked us so much...maybe your pissed because we sent you Mack Brown 
as I said the other night if you bothered to read I like UNC - but I despise Roy and the fact is he is not the guy UNC should have gotten. All my UNC friends are still mad about it. Moreover if you read almost any post of mine you would know I hate Puke most of all.
My bad, didn't read the end of the last thread. Just for discussion sake, why don't you like Roy, and if you had your choice who would you have hired?
First and foremost he is a baby. He makes Dick Vermeil appear macho. Is there anyone in sports who cries more? What's the old phrase "you know it's March when Roy is crying." He cheats in recruiting, even though he doesnt have to, and gets away with it even though while at KU the NCAA was all of 10 miles away. He started throwing away any principals he had when he started taking players like Axtell and that kid that had been at LSU because of his desperation to win the big one. He is in fact the Mack Brown of basketball but worse. When the chips are down he wont beat PUke, much less a NCAA title.
As for alternatives, I am not sure they had much choice. All my buddies wanted Karl but I just couldnt see that.

i am huge duke fan and i wish unc had gotten karl.roy will have them even with duke in 2 yrs.hate to see it.he is a class guy an i expect he and coach k to win 3 titles in the next 6-7 yrs.i just hope we win 2 of them.hope tx doesn't have to go to the nit and makes it to tourney to play unc or duke.if i have any money left i will beat against tx.by the way will you guys ever beat oklahoma in football.
