...here's what i'm thinkin' for tomorrow...uh, tonight. i'm just taking a small shot here, fellas.
TCU (-2) 24 So. Miss 16
...yep, going to play the "hornyfrogs" in this home spot...and let me tell ya why...So. Miss has a weakness on defense that TCU can exploit and the Eagles? strength on offense is something that TCU can defend.
While the Eagles' offensive production has come on the ground...the Eagles can?t throw the ball to save their lives and the "hornyfrogs" are among the best in the nation at defending the run....
TCU?s offense has gone back to the ground game the last 3 weeks with mobile QB Tye Gunn running the show in place of injured "pure passer" Sean Stilley...and although he?ll be ready to play tomorrow night, Coach P is planning on sticking with Gunn, who can run more option offense...against that porous run D of So. Miss.
Oh, did I mention that TCU is 14-4 ATS at home the last 4 seasons while Southern Miss is only 2-10 ATS in their last 12 road games (0-3 ATS this year)...and haven't won a game in the State of Texas since...since i don't know when.... So, gimmie 'dem "hornyfrogs" tomorrow...uh, tonight baby!!!
...good luck and, as always, may the football gods be with you.
p.s. No, I'm NOT an Alabama fan.... Just don't ask. :nono:
