do mushroom spores have a shelf-life?

I've got some, psilocysbin variety, from something like 15 or 20 years ago (from a head-shop in Calgary). I'm pretty sure that they don't necessarily "expire" but maybe some horiculturalists within have some experience with such things.

Considering trying to grow 'em.
Apparently they grow pretty easy.
I've been drinking up a storm, lately, and I don't know if you've ever drank under the influence of these mothers but there's nothing that compares--you can drink like a fish on 'em.

Could use some kinda non-beerish buzz.
Getting bored with the same.

Maybe number 9 will get me there...or closer, at least.

Hence the problem ...I think. This cannot be a good thing. Even I take time off. Dependence is a bad thing.:nono:
