I have the free bet with mansion with pitt -4.5 If pitt covers, I win 1k, if the don't I get my money back. Now that Rothlisberger is out, the line has dropped to Pitt -1... Here is my question
I can buy 3 points and get Miami +4 ($650 to win $350). If I do this, here are my possible outcomes
Miami wins, I lose nothing on the Pitt bet, I win $350 on Miami bet... I end up $350
Pitt wins by 3, I win my Miami bet ($350), lose nothing on Pitt... I end up $350
Pitt wins by 5, win 1k on my Pitt bet, lose $650 on Miami bet, I end up +$350
Pitt wins by 4, push my Miami bet, lose nothing on Pitt... I end up even
My other choice is not to hedge at all, I am either up 1k or even
I normally bet around $50 a game, so $350 would be a nice cash, but on the other hand, 1k would be a huge payday for me
