I was listening to Filters song "Hey Man,Nice Shot " when I reflected back on this moment.

Budd Dwyer passed out 3 envelopes at a press conference before he took his life. One contained an organ donor card, one had is funeral request and the other had a letter to the Gov. suggesting his wife be his replacement. It also said that his postion would be vacant and that he had not resigned. The key to not resigning was the benefits his family would be left with since he was still a state employee. I think it was over 1 million dollars.

22 Jan 1987 was just another day in our crazy lives and the world we live in.
