about the decision on hiring Mike Shula or do you think they expected a season like this???

Just curious what some of you think????

if they do they are even more arrogant than i can imagine. this team is down talent wise by ala standards, and frenchy left them in a lurch mid summer. ala will be fine in the future. shula is a decent coach, but his cupboard was a little empty this year. personally think croyle is all heart, but not that talented.jmo

This is what happens to teams going thru NCAA penalties, ask Sooners, ask Miami and others. Bama has talent, just no depth at this point. No the brass is not second guessing Shula, but we/they did expect 6-9 wins. Only good thing, if any, is the Aweburn situation regarding Tubby. Gotta help in recruiting war, and with limited scholarships, well we will see. And if past history holds true, at least one more year to recover from sanctions, maybe two. This year when we got banged up early, seemed everyone took a swing at us, but remember, elephants have long and good memories. So, enjoy, for this shall pass.
