LA/SD --- I keep getting smoked when I step into these PetCo totals, but I just can't stay away this time, only b/c O'Dally is on the mound. Big Game Boomer has gone over a ton since the break, and daytime at the PPC is actually a slight over lean, but I just smell a tough day for LA w/ their best right handed hitter now a Fish, and a big-time under ump behind the dish (that rhymes if you're scoring).........Under 7.5, :thinking: 2.44/2
Hou/Cin --- Why the heck is Oswalt always the heavy chalk?!?! Sure, he's won his last 2, against the Snakes. This team is a travashamockery, the way they are laying down. They should have traded Kent and Beltran (again). Way too high a price to me, and the wrong team might even be favored. I'll bite today.....Reds 2/2.82.....Woof,woof!
NYM/Atl --- I'll have a hard time spinning the numbers to support this pick. I just think Glavine will sack it up today, b/c the Mets are cinnamon toast if he doesn't. If you're gonna fade an Atl starter right now, this is probably the one....Mets 2/2.52
Mon/Fla --- With Bad Brad on a plane to Cali, Pavano is now THE man in Miami. I have to think that THE man for an aspiring play-off team has to shut the Expos down. Day is erratic, and the Fish have a more intimidating line-up adding LoDuca and Encarnacion. Stand up Florida, and pound on someone besides Philly fer crissakes......Fish RL 2/2.80 :yup
Philly/ChC --- I am an unabashed homer, to be sure. I just have it in my gut that if anyone is going to slip in his 300th win w/o a bunch of drama, its Maddux. Wrigley will be jacked up today. Head and heart are in agreement here, and y'all know what that means......Cubbies 3.08/2 :scared
