Long run for a short slide yesterday. No time tomorrow to cap and I'm wired-up from work, so lets push the chips out now.
Balty/Annie --- Took all year, but the Balty finally is puttin' the O back in Orioles. Smokin' hot right now. Its tempting to ride the streak, but Bedard is a bit suspect on the road (1-2, 5+ ERA, WHIP 1.50ish last 4). Escobar not showing off for the home crowd much either (0-3, 6+ ERA, WHIP 1.50ish last 4). After last nite, it looks like a series for the bats to me.......Over 9, 3.45/3
StL/Fish --- Jeezus Crise. Fish hold the friggin' Cards to 2 hits and lose 2-1???? Carpenter goes down early and they lose 2-1????? What do these guys have to do to lose? They are using up a lot of karma if you ask me (last comment sponsored by UnAbashedHomer.com)
Time to fade these clowns. He's been dinged 2 of last 3, but Pavano is $$$$ at home. Suppan is solid, but not great. I don't think StL comes up w/ any tricks this time. The better pitcher wins......The Bachelor 2.12/2
KC/CWS ---- Do I need to get long-winded here? KC sucks on the road. KC sucks against LHP. KC sucks, period. I know May is a lefty, but its a reawakening of the Bridgeport Lumber Company when KC is in town......For Ernie Banks, lets play 2.......Hurlin' Beurhle RL 3/3.15, Over 9 2/2.10
TB/Bos --- I don't feel this Derek Lowe revival. He walks EVERYBODY. That is no good at Fenway. On the other hand, Dewon walks a bunch of guys too, except they can't sniff him if he's not walkin' 'em. All the pressure is on the BoSox here. TB seems to have leveled off some, but I love this very live doggie when the pitching mismatch is this glaring ( to my eyes anyway)...........D-Rays 2/3.10
Parlay.......CWS/ChC/Oak/AtL 1/5.10
Good Luck All.......Doc :SIB
