Not slobbering over the card today, but I do like a couple plays.
Tex/Sea --- I see a few on the Rangers today. They're attractive as a dog, but I smell a rat. Not the same team on the road (.246/.716) and Franklin has been a battler at SafeCo this year (2-1, 2.36/1.22/.226 BA against). Of course, Seattle can't hit LHP this year, and even though they just saw Bierbrodt (classic ballpark meal, Beer and a Brat
), I don't think heading back to the pitcher's park for a nite game will help. I'd prefer the total at 8.5-9, but while I'm dreaming, I'll take a supermodel as well ..........Under 8, -101
StL/SD Parlay ----- Cards HOT. Red hot. My Cubbies better not let 'em get away hot. Great record in Pitt to boot. Plus Kris "Batting Practice" Benson on the bump. Tie that w/ SD, b/c Boomer is getting it done despite the record. Snakes have all kinds of trouble against LHP as well (see yesterday's numbers for reference).....Bird-UP.........100/180:shrug:
