I liked him back in the mid-to-late 90's, when he was an Indian. Thought he got ripped off on the MVP award a couple of times back then.
I think that his effort this series, and at other times, demonstrates that his ego is a little larger than even his hitting ability.
His comments after game #4, while not the end of the world, also showed that he's not much of a team player.

nothing to do about his race, he's a lazy fuk that is WAYYYY over paid for the job he does. he doesn't give 100%, PERIOD!
While he does have an ego, I will have to disagree with this statement. Just because the guy doesn't think baseball is the end all be all doesn't make him a poor team player. So maybe he shouldn't have said it, but maybe if guys like A-Rod took this attitude they could relax and put up big post season numbers. Even his teammates came out and defended him on this statement. Criticize him for not running that ball off the wall out, not for saying something others are probably thinking as well.
