I know he was on TV after the strike, but there was speculation that was taped earlier or it was one of his stand in "doubles". I think he's probably still alive.

I'm guessing it did not get him, even if that was taped or a double.
I don't think he's dumb. He knew it was coming, and supposedly has some deep bunkers to hide in.
I hope it did get him. I would imagine when he gets it, there should be a lot less resistance. I imagine. Who knows? Could have the complete opposite effect.

The saddam who was on TV last nite was wearing glasses & reading from notes. I don't recall him doing either previously.
Saddam is too vain to wear glasses. I dont believe that was him. But he isnt stupid and probably felt the CIA would know where he could broadcast from and bomb his ass again.
I think there is a good chance he went down with the bunker buster bombs. Too early to tell. It sure would make things alot easier.
Side note- I just saw a reporter in Kuwait trying to talk on camera through a gas mask. He looked so dumb. Complications of reporting the war.

It just didn't look like him on tv last night.....the glasses and reading from notes.....it has to be a double and it was noted that he has numerous doubles....after seeing that attack on that location, If I was one of those imposters of saddam I would seriosly consider shaving my head and mustache and going on my merry way......

First thing I said when I saw that guy was that it wasnt Saddam. This guy loves the attention to much to send a double in if he wasnt injured. I'm not sure yet he's dead.....but I think he was at least injured in that attack.
Senior intelligence sources said a "preliminary voice print analysis" indicated that the man on the tape was Saddam and not one of the doubles he uses for security reasons.
