I really don't care much at all about politics. Granted there are a few issues that concern me, but I accept the fact that nothing is going to change. And I don't blame my opinion on apathy, I'd say I just see things more clearly than most.

like for instance, I think abortion is murder, but its not going to ever become illegal, and I honestly could really less if it does or not, and I'm not going to protest at a clinic or something. So all the talk about it is just a waste of time, in my opinion.

We are going to keep giving loads of money to Israel no matter who's in office. Our borders will remain semi-open, we will still be entangled in sticky foreign allegiances and fair trade agreements, taxes will always be too high and we will be engaged in military affairs that were built on false pretenses and cloudy reasoning.

I can predict almost always what comes out of the mouth of both the right and left. In fact, there isn't really a right and left, its like 2 flavors of the same flavor of ice cream. Rocky Road with almonds or some other kind of nut.

If a guy like Ron Paul busted through I'd start caring more, but dont guilt me into buying into this 2-party bullshit illusion of "choice".

I mean whats the difference between Bush and Clinton been, really, besides a blowjob and the unfortunate events of 9/11.

haha Colin Powell endorses Obama, I love it.

I would love to see the look on most people's faces after they finally realize that politics is just a game for the stupid to get excited about.

Much of what you say is true. I go back to Kennedy. I remember Johnson running as a peace candidate. Goldwater was going to bomb Vietnam. We voted for Johnson and look what happened. Next election Nixon ran as a peace candidate. He had a secret plan to end the war. His plan turned out to be Johnson's plan of Vietnamization. You know, we would stay until they could defend themselves. Sound familiar? Then we had Regan who was going to balance the budget. Old man Bush with his "Read my lips no new taxes." Of course we know what happened there. So we don't always get what we bargained for.
