I use to think that mlb props were stupid, but so far this season I'm like 10-1 on them. does anyone else play them? And do well on them?

i used to play them all the time when i bet baseball.

they're very easy to get an edge if you are diligent about doing your homework. pitch counts and IP props are the easiest. the total base type thing is ok if you do it all the time and look at it as a long term prop. if you do it day to day you can get burned unless you really look at some individual matchups and look more from a 'baseball' and pitching standpoint than from a statistical standpoint.

I know at olympic sports they've taken most of the props away that used to be very lucrative. when you're doing these things, look at the weather depending on the type of pitcher and stuff like that and also be sure to know how the hitter is doing in the past week (not stats, but see some games on tv and understand his approach in recent games). also look at how a team has done versus similar pitchers with the same approach in recent games and see if they take pitches or are aggressive and you can make a killing at the pitch count props.

Of course, you can get burned on these things easier than games, in my opinion. many many many props I've lost because i've been right on how the pitcher is going to do but he does it so much that the manager takes him out early...... so there is a danger in betting against the SP. Obviously somewhat of a similar danger in better for the SP, but when you know whats going on, there's not a line low (or high) enough that should keep you off it.

good luck and hopefully some others can chime in advice.
