Since my cell varies between "Service", "Roaming" to "No service detected" when I walk through my house and there's no one spot that offers good service, I keep my landline. It's not that I use it that much but, with elderly parents, it gives me some peace of mind.

About a year ago I realized that, uh, I hadn't received a legitimate call on the home line in the 6 previous months and somehow my bill was like 70/month. Cut that out, obviously.

I used to have that problem when I was with AT&T, changed to Verizon about 6 years ago, no problem since...... :0corn
