to the Time Warner High Definition Tier package they offer at $9.95 /month?

Looking to go pick up the box tomorrow and was wanting to get some thoughts from those of you who subscribe to it. I particularly look forward to the HBO and sports channels. Thanks for any input.

Not TW but I have Comcast HD package.

Definitely worth it. The first time you watch CSI or 24 or any game on ESPN HD you will crap your pants and wonder how you ever lived without it.

Got the Time Warner HD listings here. Decent spread of channels but only sports channel I get is NBA TV in hd and a Fox sports channel. No ESPN HD. Discovery is pretty cool though.

More and more channels will start comming out and dtv or cable if you have a hdtv set and hdtv box should buy the channels well worth it, dtv has 2 channels hdnet and hdnet movies that are great mark cuban owns them, then get local channels in hdtv, dis channel in hdtv and showtime and hbo, the cuban net work and dis are the best have some very good shows and concerts as well as sports on them.

all networks and dtv are behind with channels for some reason sure it is a money thing they will say but with all the people buying the hdtv's now that you can get a good price for them cable and dtv will have to add more and more, just a matter of time, hell if you bought one 2 years ago you got none what a rip off that must of been ,when i got mine was only 3 a year ago slow but getting there. like i said I am sure they are holding back on use but what can you do but wait, much better then a year ago though I must say but 12 is not what i call a great card by any streatch yet just waiting is all we can do,

I highly recommend considering DirecTV's HD package. I dumped the over-priced Time Warner a couple of years ago. Best move I ever made.

Whatever you do, make sure you use the best possible video cables that you can. If your TV and receiver have component video hookups, USE THEM! DO NOT settle for a coax type hookup. S-video is your second best option, but still leaps and bounds better than coax.

Good luck. You will enjoy ;)

Thanks for all of the info guys! I've heard good things from a few folks already and I got it set-up just recently. I have a small problem though....it shows these bars (cinema style) on the top and bottom and sometimes on the sides as well. Called the support people and they say it's an option on my TV whether it should be on Input 1 or 2 but I can't seem to find that option and it's driving me nuts!

If anyone knows a solution, please fill me in. It'd be a huge help!
