I see that Fred Russell is out for the game so does that give the Badgers a chance in this game?

I don't think it matters that much because to be honest the Badger defense is more susceptable to the pass. Teams that pass against Wisconsin have a great deal of success. Wisconsin's defense on the road is terrible over the last few years. If the Badgers are going to keep it close it will be up to the offense. Badgers are planning to hammer the ball into the ground today. They have the opinion that nobody has tried to jam it down the Hawkeyes throat yet this year. Being a Badger fan and seeing quite a few of those games. I think Iowa will take it to them today. Everyone is talking about Michigan being there big game. This is the one they have been looking forward to as the Badgers have dominated the Hawkeyes.

His back up, sophmore Jermelle Lewis might be the better then Russell overall. Don't get me wrong Russell is a stud too...but Russell out will be a non factor since Greiving quit the team, and Lewis will recieve the bulk of the work. I'm hearing Russell has been cleared to play, but it's a coaches decision to rest him...but he still might see a few carries, or be used in an emergency sitiuation. As our offensive linemen Robert Gallery said, " The wholes are big enough you could put me back there, it doesn't matter who is back there, they will get the job done"

GO HAWKS!
ON A MISSION!

Don't know if the falloff will be huge because Iowa has such a good offensive line, but it certainly doesn't help them. Wisky could be a live dog today; they often play to their level of competition.
