will have to wait and see during the second term as it unfolds.

I think it is hunting mode right now but it could change quickly to go fish.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? A new government estimate says the budget deficit for the current year will come in well below what was projected just a few months ago.

The Congressional Budget Office study predicts a 2013 budget deficit of $642 billion, more than $200 billion below its February estimate.

CBO says higher tax revenues and better-than-expected bailout repayments by mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the key reasons for the improved outlook.

The deficit picture is expected to continue to improve next year and beyond, with the 2015 deficit now projected at $378 billion, just 2.1 percent of the economy

America headed in the right direction now.

Willard sitting at home still wondering what hit him.

Would love to go fishing with Obama just to pick his brain about how he is turning the economy around without the help of the Neo Cons.

A growing sense of optimism about the U.S. economy pushed stocks to record levels Tuesday, even as the market's fear gauge flashed red.

The Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 both closed at new record highs, while the Nasdaq gained 0.7%.

There was no specific catalyst for the advance, but traders said bullish comments from a top hedge fund manager helped.

David Tepper, founder of Appaloosa Management, told CNBC that investors should not be concerned about the Federal Reserve winding down its bond-buying program too soon. Investors who bet against stocks "better have a shovel to get themselves out of the grave," he said.

The Fed has been a hot topic this week after the Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend that the central bank was considering an exit strategy. Stocks have gained between 16% and 17% so far this year, driven largely by the Fed's easy money policies.

Investors have also been encouraged by continued signs of improvement in the U.S. economy, said Paul Zemsky, market strategist at ING Investment Management, pointing to a report Tuesday on small business confidence.

"We keep getting bits of slightly better news that tells you the economy is OK," said Zemsky. "It's not going gangbusters, but it's not falling off a cliff."

?I would say yes ? I?m not willing to take it off to take it off the table,? representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah) said about the possibility of seeking the president?s impeachment in the Benghazi scandal.

?Look, it?s not something I?m seeking, it?s not the endgame, it?s not what we?re playing for,? Chaffetz explained in an interview with CNN. ?I was simply asked if that?s within the realm of possibilities.?

Earlier this week, Chaffetz told the Salt Lake Tribune that impeachment is ?certainly a possibility,? which drew attention but added, ?that?s not the goal.?

Conspiracy talk show host Alex Jones, increasingly a favorite of conservative media for his extremely vocal support of gun rights, outed himself Tuesday as a tornado truther by telling a caller on his show, ?Of course there?s weather weapons stuff going on.?
Jones, a longtime proponent of the idea that the U.S. government can manipulate and even produce weather systems like tornadoes and hurricanes, went on to say that if people saw helicopters or small aircraft in the area, then ?you better bet your bottom dollar they did this.?
