I am finding myself very attracted to taking the steelers and the points today in what is looking like the NFLs best game of the year so far. I really like the fact that Pittsburgh is off of a bye and has looked at tons of film. Also I have tons of respect for big Ben who seems poised far beyond his years. Add a nice hostile enviornment, and i see the Patriots riding into major ambush today.

Pittsburgh 31
N.E. 13

I must be crazy right??

Everyone and there brother on TV seem to think the Steelers win today. That's good enough for me to take the pats. Good Luck

Let me first say I am a life long Pats fan, however I am also very objective about how I think they will do. This is only the second time this season where I think the opposition has a very good chance of winning (the first being Seattle). Pittsburgh has a solid D, excellent special teams, a very good running game, and a phenom QB.............but during the Pats lengthly streak they continue to humble me when when they find a way to win, while also no finding a way to beat themselves..............they always seem to make the big play at the right time............Bruschi's forced fumble/Seymours return for TD against Buffalo, Bethel Johnson's 48 yard diving catch against Seattle, McGinest's sack against Manning in the opening game, Dillon's 44 yard run last week against the Jeresy Jets..... until I see a consistent and significant decline their play, It is very hard to go against them.......The safest play might be involving Pitt in a teaser.....get them to +10, say with Baltimore @ +14.5, as the Pats generally don't blow anyone out......it should be a very close game all the way........

Let me try this reply again (lost the earlier one - keep getting "application error" pop in when I go to the 'more' smiley list and can't get rid of it without losing everything :cursin:

Think you're on the right side here Spang. I initially was leaning Pitt and changed to NE  Feeling you have the right read on this game. GL and nice to see you post (I know you don't unless it's a strong one) - I'm in trouble :scared

Hey T4W, Well , I'm in fairly good shape so far on the two I played small today ( Hous- KC) so don't count out the Pats yet. My perfect days in the NFL are about as frequent as a solar eclipse. :)

The streak ended!! You nailed that one Spang. Knew I was in trouble the minute I saw your thread. Usually I don't post until Sunday morning, wouldn't you know I posted last night. Anyway, we just had our lunar eclipse - when should be expect the solar variety? :) Great day for you in the NFL. Congrats. I'll be looking for another soon :)

BTW - thanks for the response in TJ's thread last week. I'm probably going to make a deposit in that account. If you'd like to get credit for a referral get my e-mail addy from Jack and give me what I need so you can get credit. I'll be doing it by mid week :)

Thanks T4W, I don't think that Pinnacle has a referal program so don't worry about it. You will like it there. They have low juice , a tasty menu, and most important of all they are solid as a rock. I have received payouts very fast and in 5 years or so I have not seen one grading error.

Looks like you had a pretty decent day as well.

Continued success ,
Mark
