1.- I can easily place a bet of $5,000.00 dlls with no remorse. But if wife ask for a new carpet I feel she is so ill-considered.

2.- I can easily place a $500 dlls 5 team parlay with no remorse. But going to a nice restaurant and paying a check for $150 dlls would make me nauseaus.

3.- When I get a bad day, I want for ever to stop gambling, I loose all confidence, I go to bed very early and fall to sleep easily. Early in the morning you got this sad feeling, but as day goes by the sad feeling dissapears, I come to MadJacks, check fletchers, NCU, Nolan, Raymonds and other guys picks, and suddenly mi confidence come back, and I feel ready for another battle.

4.- When I have a very good day, I go to sleep late, can hardly sleep, and cant wait until the morning to check my balance and get ready to hit the man again.

Am I alone in this kind of feelings?

***Easily justifyable. MONEY is the TOOL we use to make more money. We MUST have a bankroll. That's not selfishness. It's the nature of the business we are in. Just as a plummer needs tools to do his job, we need liquid (cash) to invest in order to make more money. It's very simple. Most serious gamblers who are well-off actually segregate their gambling bankrolls from daily expenses. So, within the context of the costs of living, we are much like anyone else -- bitching and moaning about the cost a gallon of gas or the price of a cup of coffee at Starbucks. But if we see a good value (bet), we are more than willing to bet heavily on the event.

***We all have different values. I am really into fine dining and good wine. It gives me a charge. Some people couldn't care less about that. That's fine. I guess for me a pet peeve is shopping -- which I hate to do. A nice pair of pants costs $60. A nice shirt is $40. It's fabric for Crissakes! Another subject -- I can't imagine paying $60K for a BMW automobile. To me, that's insane! But, to others that's a fulfilled desire and goal in life. So be it.

***Yeah, that's very natural. I've gotten physically sick after a really bad losing day. I wasn't repulsed necessarily by the monetary losses as much as the fact I had to go back and do it all over again the next day, or the next week. It's like getting knocked to the floor in a boxing match and you know you have to get back up and fight. After the pain of the last punch wanes, it's much easier to do.
