Hey Dogfish Valuist Griff Ndnfan and any other ATF Forum members I may have forgotten. Over at this other major Horse forum ,Dogfish you know the one, they have put up an interboard challenge contest against all other forums they may want to compete against them. Although I post at the other board also, my loyalties are with Madjack as this is the first horseboard I started using. I might as well name the forum putting this up so you can check out the rules and see if you would want to represent Madjack in this challenge. The forum is

I know we only have a small following at our horse forum here I think we could field a team, I believe the rules state a 5 man team but you can have a bigger team and use different player also but 5 is the number. No need to say we would be the underdog but it would be fun to see if we can compete with the bigger boards. I believe boards like ESPN and DRF will be competing also. Let me know if anyone wants to be in.
I already elect DOGFISH the team Captain as he puts in the most work on this board. Hope we can even field a team of 5 players if not we could do it with less but would be tough.

Jrdhorse.....sounds like a fun contest but I'm gonna have to pass.

Just way to busy with the upcoming baseball season coming up. The ponies just won't be a priority in a few weeks for myself.

hey jrd did you get any of that $100,000?i could do west coast but with spring coming up thats about all i got time for.there's only a few months of nice weather in this wasteland.i know you could cover big a.,need valuist and griff for hawthorne-oaklawn.if theres any interest i'm in ,kind of like the thought of being the longshot in this.

I haven't checked MJ's or posted anywhere much lately, but saw this tonight and thought if needed for Kee, CD, or OP I would be happy to put in my 2 cents worth. Still playing daily so to the ones that may remember me, there's no rust. MJ's is the first place I ever posted (last year under DV8Gambler (WGH) and the place where I still check ever so often for the best horse info in my opinion of these type boards that I know of. So if needed I'll be doing these tracks anyway and sounds like fun contest.

collins i thought of you when this came up,but didn't know what youve been up to.good to here from you.there are around $2,000 in prizes for this contest,looks like valuist is the key as hawthorne is a local track for him and he knows it well.anyone else out there?could use a couple of alternates also.griff i think theres one card at sam houston in april.

Wish i could help, but I can't. Im not to great at picking horses. I really just do it for fun.

Definitely have to use Hawthorne for any contest. Always good sized fields and payoffs

Dog if you want to be team captain I am all for it. As for the tracks, I can handle Aqueduct and will take any other track left over after tracks are assigned unless we can assign a team member to each contest tracks. I believe the format is every saturday your team member puts in his selection for his assigned track. You need to pick 2 horses and 2 alternates for each race.

Example Race 1 1-2 (5-7)

The rules are at Paceadvantage.com and also you put in you selections there. Being on Saturday is good and allowing you to select alternates is a good idea in case one is busy on a Saturday you can put your picks in the night before and in case of a scratch the alternates will be used. Coming up with a team name and signing up I will leave to our Team Captain DOGFISH if he wants it. I am in so let me know Dog if you think we can put this together!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been away the last couple of weeks in Arizona watching spring training. I would love to be in the contest but I will be out of town march 15-23. I think I could still be able to post my picks. If yall need some extra cappers just let me know I would be glad to join. By the way, I got a hot one going tomorrow at Fair Grounds 9th race Skate Away ml 8-1.
