A lot of great cappers produce and show their money management skills day in day out in this great forum and share their thoughts and insight. Congrats & thanks guys!
My approach is a bit different and not that super high producing... but with a twist. As you can see above my record is 20 games below .500 but still up 9+ units. And no it wasn't a big parlay or a MONSTER LOCK GOTY saving my neck, just steady 1 unit betting.
I'm doing this since a few years and always thought of sports betting as sports investment and a marathon, especially in baseball!
To better demonstrate what i'm doing all season i'll stick to this thread the second half. There are some rules or concepts i (loosely) follow during my "investments":

The only edge (besides inside knowledge) i see a bettor having over the book is the simple fact that no one points a gun against his head forcing him to place a bet. We got a plethora of betting options, odds, books and possibilities so we can pick our spots and choose wisely. The best and golden option is the one to pass on a game.

I don't rate games. If i like a game more than the other... i only play the one(s) i like most.

"2 way betting = 50:50 (theoretical) chance of winning - vig + capping & preselection + +100 & above odds = profit, even below .500" ... o_O

I'll be looking at a little less juiice, myself, the rest of the way.
Overall I'm actually DOWN a couple of units when considering plays at greater than -150.
(last Sunday's 1-2 is actually what made me down).
I think I've found a good restriction for those plays, though; the results, at least, suggest that I'm on to something.

Hope to catch some dogs with you the rest of the way.

Tony Stoffo's Underdog System

1) Each day, check the American and National League schedules and automatically eliminate any games in which the moneyline odds on the underdogs are greater than +150.

2) Of the games that remain, eliminate any games in which the underdogs have lost 3 or more games in a row or the favorites have won 3 or more games in a row.

3) Of the games that are left, eliminate any games in which the favored team?s pitcher is among the Top 20 of the AL or NL in ERA, or NPERA, as determined by Jeff Sagarin(R) on USA Today?s Web site.
