since i dont see a legit big dog to bet before monday i decided to build a bet with a >+200 odd. so heres the "i cant figure out the kansas ATS but want action tonite, which is a mistake i know"-parlay.

[KANSAS CITY ML -300 / ATLANTA ML -271 / JACKSONVILLE ML -152 ] +203

still waiting on NYJ ML, and considering PHI ML now

PHILADELPHIA +7 -104
(too afraid of the ML, see last dome performances, see a high scoring close game which can go either way)

NEW YORK JETS ML +127

FOXSPORTS already lists PHI as clinched playoff berth on their PLAYOFF PICTURE page, is this correct? thought they have to win or tie today to clinch. Gonna buy back the bet if they already clinched.

dont be surprised to see Chicago lose outright......see Minny vs chicago week 17 2005......D starters might play a half tops, Grossman wont last passed HT, even though there is not much drop-off if any with Griese......Chicago will want to get out of there in one piece b/c they cant afford any more injuries to their Defense, I dont care if its Green Bay, Brett Favre or b/c they are home..... chicago shouldnt even be a favorite in this game

thx for your input dice, i obviously like playing the dogs over the favs but in this case i saw real value. heres my reasoning.

game got bumped to sunday night, GB barely won against DET and MIN at home, MIN also benched Johnson and offense produced 0 (only lost 7-9), last GB wins against MIN,DET,SF,MIN,ARI,MIA. Favre will be praised all game but they might have to switch to nostalgia after he threw his 4th INT (2 of them returned for TD's)... something like this

i highly doubt they have it in them to win 4 in a row, or against a contender like CHI (even in safe mode)... but then im not that good with favs.

gl if u play GB

no problem and I hear your reasoning, but imo it would be hard to lay money on a team with absolutely nothing to play for as opposed to a Green Bay team with a sliver of a chance to make the playoffs and possibly Brett Favre's last game.....

I'm a Bears fan and I would like to think I have a pretty good read on them but who the hell knows......not knowing what Lovies is going to do, theres really only 2 ways to look at this. One, he rests his starters after 4 to 5 series and in comes Griese, adrian peterson(who is a more than capable backup), mark bradley, justin gage, rashied davis.......good talent but young and prone to mistakes.......but the droppoff is at LB which is the lead unit, Urlacher, Briggs and Hillenmeyer get replaced by Rod Wilson, Leon Joe and Bredon Ayanbadejo, yeah who:shrug: all 3 are undersized.....The Pack put up over 300 yards against the vikings last week, as of late the bears D has been struggling to begin with, so???

or Two, Lovie learned from last year that giving his players 2 weeks off was not the smartest thing as they got plowed by the vikings before going into their bye than the D got lit up by delhomme and smith the week after......he may in fact only rest certain players who are nursing injuries and make sure they head into the bye with a strong finish in front of the home crowd, with a sweep of the packers, won 26-0 week 1........GL with your play
