I've been reading that even after the retirement of Ricky Williams the O/U will only drop to about 9 or 8.5 because alot of shops will want to avoid getting middled by the people who be under originially.

Even with Ricky I didn't like this team to win 9 games, and now without him I like the under even more.

The only thing that concerns me is that every other person on this planet is thinking the same thing.

Haven't Looked At Their Sced, But Under 9 Is Still Not A Bad Bet. Imo

Could Backfire As The Phins Will Not Be Able To Be As Predictable As In Yrs Past?

Coach Davie Is Stupid Anyway - Under 9.

Ps. How Hard Will It Be To Get Rams/seahawks Tickest In St Louy This Year ?

Agree with the both of ya...didn't expect much from the Fish this year. Wannstedt isn't much, so I wouldn't count on any rabbits getting plucked out of his hat.

Over-reacting 101

What surprised me the most was that some people sprinted to the sports books and bet against the Dolphins for the first preseason game.
Within a few hours of the retirement the line had dropped a half point, from -3 to -2.5
RB Ricky Williams was NOT going to play in the game more than a couple of snaps. He had played on the Dolphins two years and new the system and the other players.
If anything, the Dolphins should have gotten a severe shove from any offensive preseason apathy to one of a sense of urgency. The starting Oline needs to practice blocking for a different back in a game situation. That, together with new WR Boston and new QB Feely, I expect a slight extension of the starters over the Jags. HC Dave Wannstedt's job is on the line (again). They had better pull together starting NOW.
