that was a tough loss tonight. think mcnabb getting that blow to the ribs early in the game affected him a ton. he wasn't mobile at all tonight and a good amount of his passes were awkward looking. akers missing 2 field goals hurt them and rod hood looked pretty awful in returning kicks for them. was very impressed with patrick kerney, he's a great defensive player. dunn had an impressive game with steady runs all night. eagles rush defense looked suspect but that was understandable with trotter out and dawkins out for a while with the cramps. when a team rushes for about 60 yds they don't deserve to win the game. that stat alone was pathetic and they still had a chance to pull this game out. overall pretty lousy effort by my guys tonight. line was -11.5 against sf for week 2, wondering what it will open back up at tomorrow, thinking around 10 or 9.5.

Mcnabb may have been hurt a little but he picked up right where he left off in the superbowl in my opinion. His throws seemed to be way off when it counted and his decison making was terrible. I need to quit betting night games.

his passing mechanics seemed shaky to me, Ive seen him play many times just like you guys and I thought something was off--hes a tuff SOB, played with broken ankle etc, but he was not right tonight and thats a huge reason the eagle backers tore out tix :(

actually his recievers were horrible except owens (he did all he could do) and that focker westbrooke was no factor in the game

I know I'll cop flak for this, but I still say that Owens' is as soft as they come.

The first INT that McNabb threw, it was clear from 5-10 yards out that the Atlanta defender was going to grab the ball....TO had to go at the ball, turn defender, clash bodies, anything to make the ball spill....Instead he runs behind and makes a token hand gesture as if he still expected to catch the ball.
Poor effort, imo.

i agree mrchristo, when the ball was in the air i was like, "Look owens won't try to break up that pass and he waves a hand at the defender and runs at him like a little fairy". hines ward would've knocked the teeth out of that defender trying to catch that ball if he was in that situation. wish owens was a bit tougher.
