I dont know how closely anyone follows the ponies but for the Derby there was very strict drug testing. Nothing like the day to day stuff that goes on regularly...this was very strict like they had done for the Breeders cup.

Have to wonder what sort of testing will be done in Baltimore....Vyjack wasn't a real contender anyway but his trainer is a very shady character and was watched very closely in Louisville. Pretty sure he has been done a few times for doping. Dutrow cheaters as well.

Another obvious cheater in the game right now is Maker. :nono:

turn, dropped back suddenly and was eased up late..

Goldenscents wanted no part of that track and IMO wants no part in a distance over a mile.

Verrazano is another one who I doubt will race over a mile. That is if he ever races again. Just another Pletcher winter wonder who hits his peak in Florida and that is all.

Mike Maker is such a blatant cheat that it is disgusting. All of his horses at once took huge leaps forward. The funny thing is, with the ratings out there like Thorograph, it is so obvious to spot a cheater. Like when some 7 year old horse hits a huge figure that is their best career figure by far.

It would be like a pitcher who could touch 95 MPH at 25 years old throw a 100 MPH fastball at age 45.

Maker, Ramsey, and that stable full of doped up horses broke the all time wins record at Keeneland in the most recent meet. Did they break it by 1 or 2 wins? Nah, they doubled the record! 70+ years at Keeneland and the record is all of a sudden doubled? Give me a break. Maker is not an elite trainer. Elite cheater, yes.
