Kansas City area for who knows how long....
mouthwaterin' is right!

mouthwaterin' is right!

Me and dunclock was just talking about Dreamland BBQ when wandering around casino in Las Vegas while back.

I mentioned to him that I was told to eat at the original location in Tuscaloosa. Sumthin Else! Also told Big Bob Gibson BBQ in Decatur was spectacular. But never got there. Anybody tried it?

Tons of BBQ joints in and around T-Town. The Bama Bar-B-Q, up the road a bit in Northport, has excellent chicken...

Another I really miss is the sausage and prime rib at Kreuz Market, Lockhart TX. You can't get any sauce for your meat there!

A friend told me that there is a Dreamland stand in Bryant-Denny now..?? If not this season then it's in the makings.........

I will have to investigate (and sample) come Ole Miss weekend. :)

There is a little stand next to The Houndstooth bar called Big Bad Wolves BBQ that has the most delicious BBQ nachos i've ever had. mmmmmmmmmmmm good!

Big Bob Gibson's in Decatur is the BOMB! They've got a white vinegar based sauce that is to die for poured over pulled pork and chicken.

There's a small place in Anniston, Alabama called the Crow's Nest. Always stop there on the way to or from Destin.

Ate at Dreamland in Birmingham this year. Even though they have more than just ribs at this location, I still had a half slab and a gallon of sweet tea. :00hour

Dreamland in Tuscaloosa = FINE!!!!!

Dreamland in Birmingham/Roswell, GA = meh.

I think a big part of BBQ is the authenticity and the B'ham location loses that, imo.

Bama's first true road game (Clemson was in the Georgia Dome) with several true freshman starting. Arkansas has had a few extra days to prepare due to their game with Texas being postponed. I think that's huge, not so much for the extra prep as they didn't get their asses handed to them (as Texas should do).

Home team has won the last 4 years in a row... 'Bama on a TD pass with seconds left last year and Arky two years ago in 2OT after we missed a PAT.

On paper, 'Bama should go in there and whip them by at least 2 TDs, but that rarely happens, especially in the SEC. Arkansas has struggled in their first two games at home against Western Illinois and Louisiana Monroe, having to come from behind late in each game to win. 'Bama's only allowed one TD in three games and leads the nation in rushing "D" only giving up 42 yards a game. Arkansas' QB has been sacked 8 times in two games and they haven't faced a "D" that is near as good as 'Bama's. Having just said all that, this game is always close. It's a lot of points to be laying to a home team.

In my write up I lean to Arkansas at +9.5, but I've seen the line is down to 8.5 at a few places. My prediction is a 27-20 Alabama win, but obviously I'm pulling for a rout. I rarely bet Alabama, but if you put a gun to my head, I would take Arky and the points.

GOOD LUCK JACKSON! :toast:

majority are laying the points and the line is going down, usually a red flag too. 8.5 currently at cris.

i think we see some dogs barking this weekend with all the easy looking games out there ;)
