Agreed. Favre certainly wasn't a saint, but he was a tough SOB who found ways to win games. Rodgers is very talented. But when you build your team around a "MVP" like QB, and then when the going gets tough, they put up 55 passer ratings in playoff games, you can't win. Another big play nobody talks about was Morgan Burnett's INT with 5:00 to go in the game - where Julius Peppers made him get down to the ground at the 50 yard line, with nobody in front of him. If he actually returns the ball, he likely gets down to the 30 at a minimum, which would have been more points. Such a comedy of errors. Didn't run the ball enough early and then didn't throw (when runs were obvious) late. This was a game when McCarthy needed Rodgers to be a game manager, nothing more. And he couldn't do it. Oh well, as we say every year, there is always next year!

the ending reminded me 100% of the minnesota vikings

I suppose its all in how you see it....its much easier to make decisions after knowing the outcome....thats whats makes the game, including pre and post game discussions, so much fun

If bostick fields onside kick.....or defense stops seattle on any of THREE td drives under 3 minutes left in game, this thread doesnt exist....

Rodgers doesn't play special teams or defense

You give your team a 12 pt lead w/3 minutes left....you did enough. ...and if same said team blows that lead including the worst effort ive ever seen on a 2 pt conersion where haha clinton dix watches seattle catch miracle lob across field, and you then follow with a game tying drive w/ no time essentially left to send it to O.T....you did your part.....

Rodgers could've done more....you can say that in every game about losing team......

And its just my opinion but i do not hold rodgers nearly as accountable as it appears most here do....

The unlikely events that had to happen, ALL OF WHICH TOOK PLACE WITH RODGERS ON SIDELINE, cannot be put on the QB IMO.

Either way, seattle won and now we have to see wilson and baldwin fake cry because they think for some reason it endears them to fans...but it just makes me not want to watch seattle....hate over the top dramatic actions....unless its Ray Lewis....he had the capability of doing it and still seeming like a bad ass....his were little tears of fuckin gas that would kill opponents....he created tear gas

Anyways GB loss because of 1000 other reasons before rodgers Imo...

One thing about Rodgers: He is not going to jump up and take his share of the blame for this loss, whatever that may be. He will blame, through his cryptic responses to questions, his calf injury for his share of the blame, whatever that may be. He will blame special teams, defense, play calling and route running for blowing the game. He will not jump up and say any of it was on him.

What's his share? Should he have handed the ball off better when Lacy was walking into the line the last 5:00 of the game?

McCarthy gets 100% of the egg for this, and other similar losses he has handed GB when they have had double digit leads late in a game.

How many times did you hear Aaron Rodgers normally doesn't miss open receivers? I heard that his last 6 games so actually he does. I thought he had a bad game.
