ORE -2 & UNDER 30 ** DOUBLE PLAYS ** for FH
A few reasons behind these plays. First of all, OREGON has had trouble with turnovers and last week, bad bounces, luck etc. but I think that all changes tonite. I think the DUCKS will be keeping things on the ground early, controlling the ball and setting up the long ball. ORE doesn't want to start the game with INT's again. :nono: Although MEYER has promised to open up the offense tonite, I can't see him ignoring the 5th leading rusher in the nation early on. Why not try and establish the run?? ORE may not be as tough vs the run as we think, as MICHIGAN fell way behind early and had to abandon PERRY in 2nd Half. MICH did show ORE to be vulnerable to the pass though, as they almost pulled out the win. With both coaches being in a conservative mode, at least for the first couple of possesions, I like the total to stay under this inflated number.
Secondly, OREGON in my opinion is the much better team. Throw out last week's debacle, (it was crazy the way the ball bounced for ORE ST.) and you have a very good team playing on the road tonite. The UTES have been tough, I can't say I think OREGON will blow them out, but I do believe ORE will go into the lockerroom ahead due to their superior speed and talent. The 2nd Half may open up considerably for both teams, and could very well turn into a BOISE ST type 34-30 game. I just don't see it happening early. Both teams have held teams in check for the most part in the first qtr, and if we have less than ten scored starting the 2nd qtr, I like my chances.
As you can probably tell, I'm looking to play the FH UNDER and come back with the 2nd HALF OVER depending on how the FH plays out. IF we go to the half with less than 30, and both teams are throwing deep by Half's end, well, then let the fireworks begin!! :jump: :Yep: kurby :jump:
