Duke Halftime?

I got both covers. Boston College got hosed. Duke is a pure fraud. They win so many games like this.

Duke is a thoroughbred race horse, and the boston college ponies were looking through the pasture with envy. Every game duke plays now, they face opponents acting like a bunch of monkeys and football players. Committing hard fouls, running their mouth, and acting up will not beat this team, you have to be a BETTER team. Georgetown showed up with there A game and beat them. Boston college was dreaming to think they could beat this ball club. Blame it on the refs, blame it on whoever you like, but duke is the better team, period! Duke and coach k our one of the few teams that show class with on the court, marshall and dudley act like there at the zoo playing ball.

If it had went to overtime, duke would have won by 10+ with 2 major BC players fouled out. I don't know if I could have taken another five minutes plus of dick vitale and closeups of flutie in the stands.
Duke hand-checks and hacks on every pass on defense. Never gets called though. What a huge advantage. Then they flop, and usually get the call.
Anytime they need a basket, they go hard to the hoop and flail their arms, refs reward them.
All these things add up to about 10-15 points per game, if not more.

Duke gets more calls their way then any team in College Basketball period! I could save the pictures of a charge called a blocking foul several times, and at least three major fouls down the stretch, but the Dukes, I mean refs didn't call them so it is pointless...and sure there were probably a few no calls on BC fouls but the fact is: Duke shot 37 foul shots, BC shot 13. Almost a 3 to 1 margin...Any team would win the game, only thing is Duke only won by 2...hmmmmmmmmmm
I agree 100%. I hate to keep repeating this topic...its just ridiculous. And this is coming from a Carolina fan since 1980. I know UNC got some calls with Dean there, and since.
But these last few years with Duke basketball. Its just a downright joke.
They flop. Its a charge. They hack, they hand-check. No calls, which leads to a couple steals. They flail. Then they shoot free throws. They throw it in to Shelden and its like giving it to Shaq. Either a phantom foul or a charge thats rewarded with a bucket and free throw.
The whole game is set up to give Duke extra possessions, extra free throws, you name it. Other teams main guys fouling out.
It drives me crazy.
My favorite thing in the whole world is to see Duke rewarded with some bullshit, and then all the fags get together and hug each other. How about getting a damn conscious.
And its impossible to stop Redick. Esp. in crunch time. If you deny him the ball, its a foul. If he gets it, he either gets an open shot, which he hits, or he gets fouled, or he drives and same thing. Either shot or foul. One is a testament to a great shooter. But the other is a huge advantage.
