Ryan Kelly hurt his foot once again which kept him out of the ACC tourney last year. A big man that can shoot from anywhere on the floor is going to be missed, especially on Saturday vs NC State. Coach "K" will use off the bench Mason Plumlee's lil brother a bit more and Hairston, but they'll miss the scoring punch from Kelly for sure. Cook is moving up in the scoring ranks and should provide the spark the Blue Devs need, but he's streaky and NC State guards will be on him like flies on stink!!

My guess that this line on Saturday will be Duke slightly favored, but NC State has a way to giving Duke their all and it could be in for an entertaining game. Duke is #1 in the polls and we all know what happens to #1's on the road especially in a situation where you lose a power forward, high scorer with no one ample to step into his shoes right away and bring them 20, it's going to take a team effort to replace Ryan Kelly vs the Wolfpack and the Pack has enough vets to put it to the Duke Blue Devs this weeknd. Line will probably be Duke -4 1/2 and total around 142. We'll see what Uncle Book Maker puts out.

GL on what you play for this game, I'm leaning strong on Wolfpack right now as a dog.

I'll probably be on NC State as well. They NEED to win this game if they want to convince themselves they can make some noise in the tourney. Duke has already proven themselves and can afford a road loss in this situation with the big guy hurt. I'm sure the crowd will be going bananas in Raleigh!

I like State also but the line will be minus 2.5 if I had to guess . A few years ago I bought 2 tickets to see State-Duke from a scalper here in Raleigh.Had 2 great seats for 100.00 each. Only problem the pack was down 25 at the half in a even matchup according to Vegas.
Don't see that happening Sat. But anything is possible with this Pack team. I will say this they need this game a lot more than Duke.

Ya a noon start to boot, Hash!

Lowell, I know what ya mean. I remember watching that game on the tube.

The one thing that State has going for them in this tilt is those kids that got their ass handed to them are now jrs or seniors, Howell, Leslie, Brown and the 3 point sheriff, Woody!! Duke is young, but they play "D", PNC will be rockin, perhaps Gug & Corcianni will get the crowd amped up in their tailgatin section, LOL!!

If the line is less than 4 1/2, I'm not going to play it, even though I think State will SU win, something just tugs at me and says , Curry Curry Curry, and he threw a dagger in me last year on a ML bet vs UNC, although I got the cover, LOL!!

Duke -3 1/2 & 149 opening line from S&O, line down to -3, then back up to -4, now at -3 1/2, still 149.

GLE if you play this one!! I'll be in the booth next to the Pepsi cooler.
