i like the over at 145
duke is soft and play d even softer
In this rivarly duke tends to put up alot of points at home. Figure the terpes will put them up right along side them

So. Cal
BPMJoe...correct call.

Reminds me of my idiot (read horrible gambler) friend last month:

"Love Tampa Bay getting 4 points, with that defense!"

3 days later

"It's down to 3.5! I love the Raiders and their offense, they should blow them out!"

Idiot put everything on the Raiders and tied all props to them in a blowout.

playmaker:

funny that you posted that. i was scratching my head as well.
by no means do i even have an opinion on the duke total, as its a tough call- but i never i dont see how one can play over one total, but then completely reverse ground and go under another, just because of a line. on a more "level", thats how vegas influences money one way or another with an opening line or line move. even if the line moves 5 points hypothetically against the side you like, id think one would just pass the game altogether if they cant get the line they like. but why go AGAINST the side you originally liked just because a number changed?

I keep going back and forth on this game.

For one, I like to take the home team looking to avenge a road loss earlier. Two, ACC has alot of young players this year who seem to have a little trouble playing on the road this season - another reason to take Duke.

But three, first time around Duke had trouble stopping Maryland's big inside players. If Maryland can overcome the crowd, jitters, etc....they can win this one outright.

My heart wants to take Maryland, my head says Duke in the money line, but -260 is a little steep for me to overlook my third point.

I'll pass.

iam sure 13 points could easily swing your opinion from one way to another

the post i wrote before was my thinking at the time

subtract or add 13 points from any total and you could quickly turn your on your opinion

the score coudl be 83-74 duke which the under does hit

Does that mean that duke still plays great defense?
