Duke-UNC game may be cancelled

Duke hasn't made the drive to Chapel Hill yet. Heard a duke staffer report that they don't want to make the trip over and are awaiting ACC approval to postpone game

When the hell would this be made up?

Read the Duke bus was to leave at 6 pm.
TV crew is already there.
Problem is the traffic on 15-501.
I believe they will play the game.
It will be a noisy place w/ students sitting in the Rams Club seats.

Duke has requested tonight be postponed. ACC will be chiming in soon I'm sure.

So UNC has to show up in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago but Duke can't make it a few miles. Ok.....I get it........

Just read it has been postponed. Bus cannot get in to get the team.
According to Bleacher Report it is 75 minute trip from Cameron to Smith Ctr.
Lots of abandoned cars on highway.
I pity the fans that left early.
SouthPointe Mall is open to motorists who are stranded.
Should have reserved 25 rooms at Carolina Inn and left early afternoon.
Was it 20 years ago Maryland game was played in snow storm and students sat in the floor seats?

I was discussing this with a guy at work today. With the Maryland game they opened the doors and invited everyone on campus in. No way Duke wanted to play with 15-20,000 students in the stands. It would have been an insane atmosphere. Sorry it didn't happen.

Unless the 15-20,000 UNC students can shoot a three I'm sure the fact that 15-501 is more fucked up than Paul Walker after taking a Saturday cruise has more to do with the reasoning behind the cancellation.

Makeup game to be next Thursday 2/20. Duke is at Ga Tech on 2/18 and then plays Syracuse on 2/22 so I think the 3 games in 5 days will be tough.
UNC is at Florida State on 2/17 and then has Wake on 2/22.
