Duke/UNC Round 2

Line is higher than I anticipated. Duke should have not squandered 13 pt second half lead in first UNC game. In Wake, Notre Dame, Clemson losses they also folded down the stretch losing the leads in all games.
Guard play and team chemistry are the problems.
Cook and Suliamon may get 40 points today or they could combine for 10. Unless Cook gets his game back this team will lose in second round of NCAAs.
In the first meeting UNC stifled Duke going to a zone in the second half. Tonight Duke will either jack up 30 3's or they will flash Hood to free throw line and either rely on midrange jumpers , dumping ball down low to Parker or kicking out to open 3.
In last game versus Wake on 2 on 1 fast break Cook took the three instead of hitting open man for layup. Unless things have changed I predict Duke will stick with shooting 30 threes and not show patience to work the ball for better shot.
I like UNC plus 8-115 for good size play. Duke may hit 14-30 threes but I do not think UNC's improved defense will allow that.
I do like over 69 in first half as both teams will go at it for first twenty minutes.
Look for large UNC play in second half as Duke may go into offensive funk again.
Unless Parker goes off for 35 points and 20 boards I see this as 4 or 5 pt game.

I can see both a duke blowout and a tight game but nearing 10 points in a rivalry game is crazy.

Lowell I haven't seen much duke bball this year but at wake it seems like they have some chemistry issues. Is this new? Rare for a K team.

Problem is point guard.
Cook has 30 percent less assists than last year but has shot about 25 percent more threes.
I think he is looking at trying to be a scoring guard. Next year Jones will lead the team.
I hate that Murphy transferred.he should have been getting minutes that Hairston was getting.
I still think 9.5 or 10 is too many.
Parker may go for 30 and 20 boards tonight. If they keep feeding him the ball he will have a big night. In first game he only shot three times in second half.
