No offense to all you Duke and UNC fans, but am I the only person in the world that does not care about this game on Saturday? ESPN is hyping this up as the game of the century. We have a very good in Duke playing an above average team in UNC. I don't believe the game means anything in the standings ( please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) and certainly won't affect the tourney resume for either team. Devoting an entire station to the cameron crazies is ridiculous (Espn U) I acknowledge that this is probably the top rivalary in college hoops, but this is not worth 1 1/2 weeks of hype by espn. Sorry to vent, but I got fired up discussing the 'cuse earlier tonight.

Def. too much hype for this one. This is what should happen for a final 4 or finals matchup.

As for standings, a win gives UNC 2nd outright. A loss prob puts them in 3-way tie for 2nd. Either way, they get the 1st round bye of conf. tourney.

Hard to tell how this one goes. I put the line at Duke -6 1/2. Duke coming off loss where FSU got every close call (to make up for first meeting). Redick not shooting as well. Senior Night in Durham. Crazy Cam.
I see Duke winning by 10.

I want Heels to win, but I am looking a lot more at big picture, and just thrilled with season so far.

Should be a really good atmosphere, but way too much hype.

More than likely, I put small amount on UNC ML for good poss. payout. Carolina been playing really good lately, and could come out really loose, feeling theres little to lose.

Sorry for long post. I think smart money is small play on Devils line or smaller play on Heels ML.

you are on drugs if you think duke will be anywhere near (-4) in this game. touchdown jesus' line of 6.5 is very likely low as well. not sure how duke isn't at least an 8 or 9 point favorite. frankly, it wouldn't be a huge shock if duke were a DD favorite here.

Good luck with that buddy! I forgot to mention that Espn the Ocho is also telecasting part of this game as they are going to show JJ's family and their reaction to each shot. Should be riveting. Only problem is that their showing that instead of the finals of the ultimate dodgeball competition. I was hoping to see if Average's Joes could defend their title.

We'll see I guess. I hope it's DD, you know where my $$ will be. I'm sure I underestimate line inflation due to the fact that JJ and sheldon will be playing at home for the final time, blah blah blah. I think duke is over-rated, completely 2 dimensional...JJ and Sheldon.

6.5 at pinnacle now, so I guess at 4 I was a more shaded in the wrong direction compared with your prediction but not by much. Kudos to TDJ, right on my man.

This will likely be a no play for me because I want to enjoy the game as a fan and not sweat the spread. I'm sure you guys have done the same.

Duke would cover this 8 of 10 times. I wish they hadn't lost to FSU or I'd be more inclined to take Carolina. I'm not much of a situational bettor. I don't buy into the whole "revenge situation", or in this instance, "last home game for Redick/Williams", etc.

As I said before Duke is very easy to plan for. Redick will get his...he's been in a slump but it's from all the hoopla regarding the scoring record and that garbage. He'll show up. I think Hansbrough can control Williams. It's Duke's other guys who will make the difference either way. Rays. Terry is the x-factor for Carolina.

I think this game comes down to the buzzer, but time will tell.
