I made a bet on the Rockies game before the rainout last night. I've got the Perez-Jimenez matchup, originally scheduled for 3:05. This matchup will now be game #2 of a doubleheader and I am wondering if my plays will push or will see action in this second game.

I can't recall from past experience, or from rules sheets.

I e-mailed my book to ask them and they responded requesting "ticket numbers"...sheesh...was a bloody easy question. Anyways, I gave them the numbers and they'll probably respond but certainly someone in here should know how this scenario will play out.

My guess is that the ticket will have action, despite the time change, as the scheduled matchup is the same.

Could be wrong.

Let me know.

I'm talking about Thursday's game.

I have the Perez-Jimenez matchup.
Their currently slated, by my info, to go in game #2.
I made the play when it was a singleton but now I need to know if I have action on game #2.

I think that I do.

Got the following, somewhat unhelpful, reply from my book:

"Dear Sir,

Our Baseball rules do not change because there is a double header.

The information contained under "Double Headers" may assist in to clarify these wagers. In many cases a pitcher is announced as pitching in Game 1, for instance, but pitches in Game 2.

Wagers are graded by the Game number, 1 or 2, using the pitchers who actually started.

Therefore, if you use listed pitchers for Game1, and one of your pitchers starts Game2, you will have no action. Or, if you use listed pitchers for Game 2 and both your pitchers start Game1, your wager will be no action even though the same two pitchers started the game.

Kind regards,

Customer Service Department"

Do I need to clarify the freakin' question to these turdbags or what?! Very flippin' simple. Their answer did not address my concern.

This was NOT a scheduled doubleheader so their response is meaningless. Fvck it...I'm going to try one more response to their B.S.

sent this...tell me if it's understandable or not:

"Your last response is fine if we are talking about a SCHEDULED doubleheader, but in the case I am referring to this is a last-minute change to the schedule. I made the bet when it was the ONLY game scheduled, at 3:05, but now this same matchup (Perez-Jimenez) is slated to go in game #2 (6:35) of the surprise doubleheader. I forget the rules for such a situation and had hoped that you would clarify this for me. Again...if Perez-Jimenez go in game #2 Thursday do my plays have action? "

They respond quick but are apparently tools.
Perhaps they will actually comprehend my meaning and allay my confusion regarding the inevitability of action.

It makes sense, doesn't it, that I will have action if Perez-Jimenez meet in game #2?, regardless of the fact that the bet was placed before the postponement due to rain on Wednesday?

I dunno.
Would sure like to.

shit...I would still like to know. Preferrably by 2 pm'ish.

Got the following response:

"Dear Sir,

Please note your message has been forwarded to our Grading Department for further review.

We will contact you back as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Customer Service Department"

Thanks.
ffsakes

Anyways, as mentioned, I believe that I have action if Perez-Jimenez square off at 6:35 pm. I believe that is the case but would like clarification, which may or may not come.

Provide some if so enlightened.
Thanks.

Anybody help me out?

I feel bloody stupid not even knowing if I have action or not. Bloody stupid.

Would like to know before after the fact.

Need some Z's.
Hopefully a response here or by my book by gametime.
Got a couple responses but not sure if accurate.
As mentioned, I think action IS.

I have no clue to be honest I just started wagering on bases June 24th , I always play NHL.

I think if you did "action" game will count. Not really sure though but I do understand what you mean.

Checked my e-mail after awakening.
Book tells me my play DOES have action.
Perez-Ubaldy game #2.
This is sorta what I expected, despite the game be "rescheduled" from 3 pm to 6:30.
Fine by me.
Just wanted to know.

Fade my late games because I'm up early.
