Duncan/Parker OUT! What you got?

This spurs team sure is interesting. However, without Parker could be the back breaker. They're experienced and very good so when they lose a player they know how to manage a game. However, losing your best 2 players which just happen to be your CENTER and POINT GUARD are two very serious issues.

I can't imagine San Antonio even coming close to 100pts. They're still gonna play defense, and hustle. The key to this game is, how will the Lakers play? They're always inconsistent and you just never know with them!

Maybe I'm crazy but I still think it will be a close game. SA didn't show up against GS so I have to think they give maximum effort tonight.

The thing about this game is that having played college basketball I can understand how much it hurts to have your PG out. Our team wasn't great, and our PG actually wasn't even one of our leading scorers. I think he was the 4th leading scorer. However, he made our team and offense go. His style and play was PERFECT for us. However, he got a fractured foot when we were 15-8, we lost our last 8 games of the season without him. Losing to 5 teams that we had already beaten before.

Should be interesting!

I have to say I find it a bit odd that after Parker and Duncan were both listed as out, the line at my book didn't budge. I have to think there was a lot of public money coming in on the Lakers after the injuries were confirmed. :shrug:

Yes I think it is odd that the line has not moved much with the Spurs injuries and why has the total gone up? You think it would go down?:shrug:

Yeah, I wonder if the Lakers will have a hard time getting up for this game seeing as how they know Parker and Duncan are out. They probably think they can just walk out onto the floor and win. Still a long way to go but I'm really liking my SA +6 bet.

That was a joke of a 1Q...All I needed was LA -1.5 to hit my 2-teamer and they play like they're sleeping. Then get a 3pt lead and get outscored 10-6 to finish.

I really believe that SA will come out in the 3Q and do the same they did in the 1Q. I'm trying to hit this as it gets to the climax before it drops because there's no way this game goes into 200pts total.
