Flying in next weekend for the titans/colts game, but not renting a car...can I walk to the stadium (and back home) from baileys (comfortably)? Wifey will be with me and she is not as tolerant of long, drunken walks as I am

Got it. On game day - thousands of people walk to the game from all over. There are also hotels all over downtown and some of them are too far from the stadium (some are real close though).
I would call your hotel and ask if people often walk to the stadium from there.
I will tell you right now that Bailey's is a pretty good walk from the stadium. You will have to cross the Shelby bridge to get there. If I were you, I would not walk anywhere around that area when I am hammered.

yes, you can walk from Baileys to the stadium
Baileys is between 4th and 5th, you walk down 2 blocks, walk over the new walk bridge to the stadium
RollTide and his buddy will be in town also and we will either be at Baileys, Coyote Ugly or tailgating at the stadium and you are encouraged to join us

Yep, like I said it's a pretty good walk, but it sucks to walk that distance with a bloodstream surging with liquor.
Next weekend I will be in Lexington at Keeneland for opening day! Thanks for the invite though....
