Where will he be next year? Is he a unrestricted FA?

I Used to like this guy

Heard interview today where they talked about rejoining lakers...

he said:

"This decision is only about me"

Not really...you have a organization and fanbase that invested everything into you, only to watch you sink and quit at the end.....I don't think laker fans will care if he walks....

I can see him in brooklyn finally

J johnson
Deron williams
Dwight howard

Not 100% how nba works. Is he free to go anywhere?

Milwuakee would be perfect IMO with jennings and ellis if it was a bigger market for him.

I'd say its Lakers or he goes and signs with the Nets. He'd be a better player at the Nets imo.

He can go anywhere he wants, the only thing is who has the money to get him. Dallas and Houston are willing to spend big bucks on him. I don't want him in Dallas. I don't want him on my mavericks team. this guy is a pansy.

Lakers can give him more $$$ under the current CBA (about 30 mil) so there might be a sign and trade :toast:

As a lifelong Lakers fan, I'd be happy to have Brook Lopez at center!!

He's a guy that plays hard every night and actually has some post moves around the basket and can shoot ft's...

WHEN Howard plays hard, I can live with the poor ft shooting...
but the stupid fouls he makes (usually on offense) it is very frustrating to watch... and then the poor ft's... and then if he's not giving effort (which was the majority of the season... maybe his back wasn't healed? only he can answer that honestly, and I don't know that these guys are honest very often).
I can live without that Dwight Howard....

will be interesting to see how it unfolds!

I agreed. I gave into the "howard's back still hurts" thing for awhile. But for a guy who's been in the NBA for what? 7-8 years now? I haven't seen any development in his playing style. Luckily the Lakers got rid of Andrew Bynum when they did, but for now... we are stuck with Howard.

Sign and trade to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

Personally, I don't want the guy on my team.

Sign and trade to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

I said same think yesterday. I'm sure he would "love" to come back to Cali. Played at UCLA and loves the state.

100% a different guy when compared to dwight when considering he: hussles, plays through pain, isn't fouled out when the game clock expires....

Kevin love is what's good about sports IMO and he deserves to get outta minny and play for a big market contender so he gets the exposure he deserves, although I'm sure doesn't care if he gets.

Only problem is Kevin Love is a china doll. Breathe on him and he breaks. Howard needs to man up and stay. He can go anywhere nd be an NBA star. He can stay and maybe get mentioned as one if the best in history. (Big If). The Lakers have cap room after next year and there will be many players to go after. As a REAL Laker fan, I can live with a crappy season next year. The Lakers won't be down long. Plus tickets will be cheaper on Stubhub!
